I’m pretty sure I’ve posted this one of Eyjafjallajökull before. But it is just too good. It is impossible to understand the scale of this without having seen it in real life.

I have the great pleasure of being able to work with the US military. Whenever I interact with them it becomes more and more obvious that really they’re just overgrown boys. This is Pablo. The 35th was on its way to Iraq to provide convoy security and Pablo was brought along for the ride. The Love and attention lavished on this doll was hysterical.

This bird was determined that he was not going to move. We kept moving towards him and he held his ground. We were an arm’s length away when he finally got annoyed enough to fly off. The NYC seagulls at Battery Park really do act like they own the place.
